Every day, thousands of people enter stations just like this one. Some are heading to work. Some are heading to school. Some are simply trying to make it through another day.

Every subway car carries hundreds of stories. Every stop represents another family, another dream, another struggle.

About 745,652 people were experiencing homelessness in the US in January 2025. New York makes up 125,683 of that total.

New Beginnings.

New York has always belonged to people searching for opportunity. Every language. Every culture. Every family. Together they shape this city.

Immigrants account for 23.3% of New York State's total population, totaling approximately 4.6 million foreign-born residents. They make up 27.8% of the state's workforce and comprise roughly 38% of New York City's population

Growing Up.

Every child deserves a safe neighborhood, a good education, and someone who believes in them.

New York families heavily rely on hotels and motels for emergency housing, spending $172 million statewide in 2024 to place nearly half of all unhoused families outside NYC in temporary homes.

A neighborhood is more than buildings. It's where childhood happens. It's where friendships begin. It's where families hope tomorrow will be a little better than today.

Some battles are invisible. Survivors of domestic violence deserve safety, support, and to be believed.

Domestic violence in New york remains high, marked by tens of thousands of victims, over 240,000 protections orders... and thousands of denied shelter.

Every survivor deserves compassion. Every survivor deserves support. Every survivor deserves the chance to heal.

its estimated that up to 94% of survivors of rape or sexual assault develop symptoms of PTSD and 50% end up with long term symptoms .

Every Community Matters.

New York's strength has always come from its people. Black communities. Latino communities. Asian communities. Indigenous communities. Immigrant communities. Every neighborhood adds another chapter to the city's story.
